Location: Missouri City, TX
Scope/size: This newly constructed 7000-square-foot-single-family residence features a metal roof manufactured by Integris Metals. The metal was custom formed into panels designed by Brinkmann Roofing called the “Tex Snap1000.”
Description: The homeowner chose to install a metal roof for its longevity and for its ability to resemble aged copper. The metal he chose resembled patinated copper but was a quarter of what a copper roof would cost. The customer also wanted a roof that would be energy efficient roof and appreciated that a metal roof would reflect heat and light. | 
Challenges: The roof’s steep slope (10/12 pitch), 40-foot-long roofing panels.
